In what has to be a first for our sanctuary, the Brazilian Presbyterian church hosted a conference the weekend before Thanksgiving that featured contemporary Christian music, a light show, and a live broadcast of the weekend over the internet. In addition to the sanctuary filling 450 people in attendance, over 32,000 people (computers) were tuned in Saturday evening.
We were blessed in our 10:30 service Sunday morning when one of the weekend worship leaders, Pastor Isaacs of New Covenant Church in Lisbon, Portugal, sang during the offertory.
